Un-undead

New poem

Take me with you
oh sweet death, kiss me
I approach a downward spiral
recluse, violent, fragile
from an act so evil, so vile
always, you were to belong to me
glowing with immortality
but the candle has burned out
so in the night I wander about
chasing beautiful word you said
vivid romances in my head
so I won’t believe it’s you
lying in that awful bed
so pale, and lifeless
un-undead.
